A broad coalition of community leaders from throughout the city of Ottawa announced their support for mayoral candidate Mark Sutcliffe today. The group comprises current and former elected officials (including four former mayors), entrepreneurs, community leaders and activists, all of whom agree that it’s time for a fresh perspective at Ottawa city hall. Together they will serve as Honourary Co-Chairs of the Mark Sutcliffe campaign.
“As mayor, I intend to represent all of Ottawa, so I’m grateful to have the support of a broad coalition of amazing leaders from across our large and diverse city,” said Sutcliffe.
“All of these leaders have contributed to building our city and many have worked directly in municipal politics,” said Sutcliffe. “I’m proud to be supported by a growing coalition of people who want less politics and more results, who want a fresh perspective at city hall, and who want a mayor who can bring people together to solve challenges and get things done.”
The Honourary Co-Chairs of Mark Sutcliffe’s campaign include:
“We need a Mayor who will listen to the community, achieve consensus, and work with all of Ottawa to build a better city for everyone,” said Sutcliffe. “These Co-Chairs clearly demonstrate that there’s a broad consensus from across the political spectrum and throughout rural, suburban, and urban Ottawa that I can deliver results.”
