Ottawa Economic Outlook 2025

We're making great progress in Ottawa, but as we start 2025, our city is facing several challenges, including significant economic risk with the threat of U.S. tariffs, federal government job cuts, and plans to reduce federal office space in the downtown. As I discussed with community leaders at the Ottawa Economic Outlook event, we must work together to face these challenges. We must continue to bring a balanced approach to diversify our economy and support the most vulnerable. And we must continue to fight for our fair share of funding, especially in a time of economic uncertainty.
